Kate Warrington

Creative nonfiction writer and essayist.

Kate is a queer Brooklyn-based writer whose work seeks to explore the intersections of identity and culture. Her writing has appeared in HuffPost, Querencia Press, Fruitslice, Pangyrus Lit Mag and She Explores Life, a feminist site where she previously wrote the column “Overthinking Everything” about her experience with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), among others.

Kate is a member of Hugo House’s 2024-25 Book Lab program, working on her debut memoir-in-essays about OCD, queerness and coming of age.
